Camira Fabrics

We're textile innovators who design and manufacture contract fabrics for commercial interiors. We're an independent company recognised for product and environmental innovation and the name behind the celebrated Sting fabric made from nettles. Our origins go back to the 1970s, while Camira itself is the result of a management buy-out from the Interface organisation back in 2006. Our textiles impart colour, style, texture and design inspiration and work in beautiful harmony to create statement interior schemes.

Jeahna - Johan Carpner & Alexander Lervik

A textile fixture for indoor and outdoor use. The technique from manufacturing tents inspired Jeahna. A gigantic fixture in three sizes 1,5 to 5,5 meter in diameter. Even the largest model only has a weight of a few kilograms and fits into a small sack, not larger than a regular suitcase. Jeahna has the latest LED technique as standard with Dali and Rgb as options.

School Landscape - Svet Vmes

Ledina is one of the oldest grammar schools in Ljubljana. It has operated for 144 years. The school plan has a characteristic “U” shape, with two main entrances that were once used as separate entrances – for boys and girls. Due to safety reasons only one is in use today, while the second one is closed and has no function.
The idea was to create a new "semi-public" school space for leisure activities of students during recess, before and after school. The enclosure is formed with wavy bands with different gradients of one material. With this element we broke the hard, uneven space and transformed it into a new, soft, single space. As internet is indispensable in everyday life of pupils, the room has wireless internet, loudspeakers and a projector to ensure a more relaxed ambience. The place becomes a multi used school landscape where students can rest, socialize, watch movies, get information, listen to music, and organize lectures or performances by school DJs.

Wood-Skin - MammaFotogramma

Wood-skin™ is a composite material, developed and patented by our design firm. This highly flexible surface – a sandwich wood and high performance mesh – was created by a process of excavation with a CNC cutting machine. By dividing the rigid plan of wood into small triangle, the material is freed - able to be shaped as the maker desires. This approach renders a wooden surface malleable, not just for decorative purposes, but also as solid and functional covering system for interiors and design.
This material hold an endless potential to absorb ideas and possibilities that reflect the dynamics of the space they occupy. Recognizing this potential allows to re-conceive and re-build spaces inspired by the malleability of this elegant, durable and strong material.
