Purl London - Fluid Movement

Fluid Movement are a collective of mixologists, who share a passion for creating great drinking experiences.
The teams interest in delving into the heritage and provenance of drinks, and presenting them with a theatrical and interactive flourish, allows us to be directional in the future of bartending.
Seasonally inspired drinks are showcased at our first bar, Purl London, in the heart of Marylebone. Here, we create multi-sensory experiences, that excite and captivate. By experimenting with foams, fog, homemade caviar and liquid nitrogen, we aim to rediscover lost classic cocktails and re-invent the rule book.

Electric Ladyland - Amaterdam

The only Museum of it'd kind in the world, "Electric Ladyland - the First Museum of Fluorescent Art" houses a large
room-sized Fluorescent Environment that the visitor enters, becomes a part of the piece of Art, and then experiences
"Participatory Art."
"Participatory Art" is where the visitors take place in the creation of a piece of Art and are, for the duration of their visit,
a part of the piece of Art.  This is vastly different from most forms of conventional contemporary Art where the visitor
is traditionally merely a viewer and, as such, has no part in the creative process involved in the piece of Art.

McNally Jackson Cafe - Front Studio Architects

The owner of McNally Jackson Books, one of the largest independent booksellers in downtown Manhattan, wished to re-conceptualize the café and seating area as a place evocative of literature. The newly realized space creates visceral connections to the act of reading in each programmatic function.

Passing Cloud - Tiago Barros

This project envisions a distinct approach towards moving around the United States being also a revival of the act of traveling. Why traveling at high speed? Why having the final destiny always defined? And why always departing and arriving on a tight schedule? Nowadays, everything is set and everyone is always running around. It is time to reconsider the act of traveling and start enjoying it accordingly.

The Passing Cloud is an innovative and environmentally friendly method of transportation that doesn’t require expensive steel tracks or concrete highways. It is made of a series of spherical balloons that form the shape of a cloud. Its inner stainless steel structure is covered with heavy weight tensile nylon fabric. During the journey, It moves according to prevailing winds speed and direction at the time of travel. Since it moves with the wind, no wind is ever felt during the trip, offering the passengers a full “floating sensation”.

It’s an unique journey. The feeling of floating in the atmosphere – on top of a cloud – with an open schedule and unknown final destiny. All National Ground would be potentially covered at virtually no cost and the help of the wind. The journey becomes your destiny.

ERCO

ERCO specialises in producing engineering hardware and software for architectural lighting. First and foremost, we see ourselves as selling light, not luminaires. This approach has been the trademark of our work for many years. That's why we call ourselves: ERCO, the Light Factory. ERCO's indoor luminaires, outdoor luminaires and lighting control systems constitute an extensive range of lighting equipment for general, comprehensive, architectural lighting solutions.

Our slogan "tune the light" describes our guiding principle: optimum solutions for architectural lighting - when creating, directing and controlling light, for efficient visual comfort and scenographic design dimensions. Innovation is the key to realising this optimum at an everhigher level. ERCO lighting tools encourage a transformation of technology into culture. This approach results in lighting tools for the user that satisfy all the technical and economical requirements of lighting practice, while at the same time opening up the whole fascination and magic of that "immaterial material" known as light.

Zaragora Bridge Pavillion - Zaha Hadid

Our first completed bridge project, the Zaragoza Bridge Pavilion is one of few in the world to merge two building typologies, combining engineering infrastructure with architectural elements.
It is built diagonally over the River Ebro, smoothly and continuously connecting the main boulevard in the Delicias Intermodal Station to the Expo site, passing over a small isle.
With a surface area of approximately 6,500 metres and a length of 280 metres, the Bridge Pavilion is the only inhabited bridge in Spain – constituting the most daring building and the biggest construction challenge of the entire Expo, with its 68.5 metre foundations the deepest ever built in the country.
The structure’s intersecting ‘pods’ allow its weight to be distributed across the four diagrid trusses, instead of a singular element, leading to a reduction in the size of load-bearing members needed to span its 155m and 125m sections...
